We're very proud to have made the shortlist for Best Retailer (Medium) Category in the MIA Music Awards.


The MIA Music Awards are an important event and major celebration to all those involved in the music industry. The awards recognise and honour the most reliable, innovative products and retail initiatives across the UK to celebrate top individuals and organisations.

Having also been nominated in recent years for Best Independent Retailer, this year for the first time the awards have been opened up on a broader scale to target different sized stores and Guitarbitz Guitar Shop has been shortlisted in Best Retailer (Medium) Category.

Founded by James Oliver and Davin Kenwood in 2004, James Oliver said “ We are very pleased to be shortlisted in the best retailer (medium) category, as we work hard to continually expand to grow our business and offer a great range of specialist guitar equipment with our customers in mind. “

With twelve other companies also shortlisted in the same category, Guitarbitz Guitar Shop would like to thank all of their customers for voting for us and for making this opportunity possible. The winners will be announced at the MIA Music Awards ceremony on Tuesday 18th November 2014 at The Park Plaza Riverbank, London.

Created in early 2004, Guitarbitz Guitar Shop recently celebrated their 10th Anniversary having been successfully trading to the UK’s 3 million guitarists and catering for guitar players of all levels ever since.

In June this year, the shop has undergone refurbishment and developed into an even more popular guitarists haven, providing a friendly atmosphere, with knowledgeable staff in a tranquil, comfortable space where all are welcome. Based on the outskirts of Frome, Somerset our customers have the opportunity to visit us and try out our large range of guitars, amplifiers and accessories with the added benefit of free parking right outside.
